Jason Bernard Morsink

Jason’s experience spans over 21 years in Construction Management.
He is a Professional Quantity Surveyor (Registration No. 3473) registered with The South African Council for the Quantity Surveying Profession and also a Professional Construction Project Manager (Registration No. D/1301/2006) registered with The South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions.
He is an elected Professional Member of the International Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Registration No. 1265869) and a Professional Member (Member No. 5053) of The Association of South African Quantity Surveyors.
He started studying at the then Port Elizabeth Technikon in 1993 where he achieved 8 distinctions.
From May 1996 to January 2003, Jason worked for 2 Construction Companies as Chief Estimator and Construction Project Manager. His duties included estimating and tendering, liaison and co-ordination with clients representatives, liaison and coordination with sub-contractors, programming of projects, interim claims and cost control, ordering and scheduling of materials, attending site meetings, site inspections and quality control, variation and time extension claims, monthly valuations and final accounts.
As of 3rd February 2003, Jason joined Roeleveld Quantity Surveyors.
Jason’s duties included overall financial control of projects, measuring and preparation of bills of quantities, adjudicating tenders, monthly payment valuations and certificates, cash flow forecasts and budgeting, project management, preparing monthly reports and claims, and close out reports for projects on completion.
In 2008, Jason moved to Shelly Beach, where he managers the Kwa-Zulu-Natal office.
