Piet Roeleveld
Quantity Surveyor & Project Manager

Mr Roeleveld has over thirty years in the Quantity Surveying and Project Management fields.
His career began after completing a Bachelors Quantity Surveying degree at the University of Orange Free State in 1976. From 1977 to 1979 he worked for the Department of Public Works, as Principal QS.
From 1980 – 1981 he worked at Bester Homes in Pretoria in the tendering department. From 1981 – 1982 he worked for Eskom as a Quantity Surveyor in the Power Stations Department. From 1983 – 1986 he worked for Blokker Hibbert Grobbelaar Quantity Surveyors at Harrismith as a Quantity Surveyor. In 1987- 1988 worked for Brink Schoeman Cronje and Tulleken in Bhisho.
In 1989 he opened his own practise, Roeleveld Quantity Surveyors in Bhisho.
He was responsible for leading Roeleveld Quantity Surveyors over the last 19 years, for which the company has become a well known Quantity Surveying firm in the Eastern Cape.
Some major projects
- Project Manager for the Upgrading and Maintenance of 199 schools in the Eastern Cape during 1996 – 1997.
- The successful Project Management of the Eastern Cape School Building Programme from 2001 to 2007. The Company formed part of a consortium consisting of 5 Companies, three Quantity Surveying, 1 Architectural and a Social Facilitating Company. The project value R1.5 Billion
